This policy explains what personal information Appliance Doctor (Appliance Doctor Corp) collects when you ask us for field service work, and what we do with it. We use Albusto to send messages on our behalf.
We use your information only to schedule and perform the service you requested, to reach you about that job, to send estimates, invoices and payment links, and to keep the records a service business is required to keep. We do not sell your personal information.
We do not sell or share your mobile number, your opt-in to text messages, or your consent with anyone else for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile opt-in information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
We share your mobile number only with the companies that deliver the messages for us — our software provider and the mobile carriers — and only so that the message reaches you.
You give us your mobile number when you request service. We text you only about that request. Message frequency varies with the job, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. See our text messaging terms and conditions.
Only the people and companies that help us do the work: our technicians, our software provider, our payment processor, and the mobile carriers that deliver our messages. Each receives only what is needed for their part, and none of them may use it for their own marketing. We also disclose information where the law requires it.
We keep your service record, including the conversation about the job, for as long as we need it for warranty, accounting and legal purposes.
